  • RESERVATIONS
    • How Can I Make A Reservation?

      To make a Reservation, contact Northwind Resort at 1-(231) 322-4554, and check the availability of your preferred date(s).

      Please Note: Office is closed by 9:00pm for any inquiring calls.

      Northwind Resort starts taking reservations for the next season beginning in March.

  • DEPOSIT INFORMATION
    • Deposit Policy?

      In order to confirm your reservation, we require payment of a 50% deposit toward your intended stay.  Northwind accepts only Visa or MasterCard for this purpose.

    • What is your Deposit Refund?

      A Deposit will be refunded (less a $50 handling fee) only if it is requested 21 days in advance of the scheduled arrival date.

      If a request is made less than 21 days before the arrival date, the Deposit is forfeited in its entirety.

      Refunds on Deposits will not be given for inclement weather, family emergencies, loss of power or any acts of God.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY
    • What is Northwind’s Cancellation Policy?

      It is Northwind’s Policy that Refunds will not be given for early departures due to inclement weather, family emergencies, loss of power or any acts of God.

      If a Refund request is made less than 21 days before the arrival date, the Deposit is forfeited in its entirety.

      If your Refund request is made after your arrival, the entire Payment received is forfeited.

  • CHECK-OUT
    • When Is Check-Out Time?

      Our Northwind Guests are requested to Check-Out by 10:00am.  There is also a $50 fee assessed for later than a 10:00am Check-Out.

    • What Does Checking Out Involve?

      Our Northwind Guests are requested to:

      • Empty any food out of the refrigerator/freezer.
      • If you stayed in Rooms 5-9, please unplug the refrigerator.
      • Wash any dishes that have been used and place them in their proper places within the cabinets.
      • Take the room key to the office.  If the office is closed, please leave the key in the room and lock it.

  • GUEST ROOM ACCOMMODATIONS
    • How are the Guest Rooms Equipped?

      Each room is equipped with two double beds and necessary bedding, including two extra blankets.

    • Is Tableware Provided?

      In sets of four the following is provided:

      • Tableware
      • Bowls
      • Plates
      • Glasses
      • Can Opener
      • Large Bowls
      • Pasta Strainer
      • Salt & Pepper
      • Coffee Filters
      • Measuring Cups & Spoons
    • What is Bathtub and Shower Combination?

      Each Guest Room contains a Bathtub/Shower combination except Room 8 which has a Walk-in Shower instead of a Bath Tub (pictured):

      Bath Towels are supplied.
      Each Guest Room is supplied with a set of 4:

      • Towels
      • Hand Towels
      • Wash Cloths
      • Bath Mat

    • Can I Enjoy the Magnificence of Northwind for Years to Come?

      For those who want to keep coming back and making Northwind a tradition within their own family, we offer an opportunity to secure your date(s) & room(s) in time on the Resort’s Future Calendar.

      This special Offer reserves the date(s) & room(s) you select for the up-coming year with a Reserve the Future Booking Purchase of only $50 for each Reservation.  This $50 is non-refundable and not applied as a reduction to the cost of the Reservation.  It only secures your date(s) & room(s) on our calendar for the up-coming season!
